Mobile gaming is becoming a very interesting market to think about lately. On one hand, you have to consider the impact that mobile devices like smartphones and the iPod Touch have had on it, on the other hand you have the Nintendo 3DS having over 300,000 preorders for it in the UK, more than the Wii had. Then you have people in the industry saying things like the 3DS and NGP will be the last generation of mobile game consoles of their kind.

She’s a Beaut’! NGP/PSP2, whooo!
So, the PSP2 was announced today but with a new code name, NGP (Next Generation Portable), even though it clearly says PlayStation on the front of it. I do have to admit, it’s so beautiful, also, it’s more than I could’ve ever hoped it would be. Now it’s just up to Sony to keep the price down and the features true. Continue reading
